Summary of Position:The Voice Sales Specialist is responsible for direct sales of Hosted PBX, IP telephony, and Converged Access services to customers and prospects. Responsibilities:



  • Achieve assigned revenue quota for voice sales to customers and prospects.

  • Develop and execute voice product sales strategy and plan.

  • Serve as “subject matter expert” for voice products, IP PBX and IP telephony industry, competition, and products.

  • Develop individual opportunity strategies and sales plans.

  • Build and manage a strong funnel of voice sales prospects and opportunities.

  • Prospect, qualify and make sales presentations to potential customers.

  • Lead the voice sales process, leveraging necessary internal resources, and partners, for voice sales within assigned opportunities.

  • Update all sales activities through Microsoft CRM.

  • Prepare, complete and process all sales paperwork and documentation.


 Qualifications:



  • Strong knowledge of voice networking, PBX, and IP PBX products and services. 

  • Demonstrated history of consultatively selling into “C” level contacts.

  • 7+ years experience selling voice and PBX and IP PBX products and/or services.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Cisco, Broadsoft, Polycom, experience a plus.

  • ROI and total cost of ownership selling experience preferred.
